It's about time i did some more sewing.......school is starting to get a bit quieter, i feel like i have time to do me things!

Hartland Blubells and more......

Today i went to Hartland to see the bluebells, the gardens were absolutely stunning, i took alot of photos and i am hoping they will inspire some print designs!

It's been a while......

It has been so long, how bad i haven't blogged!

Well, i am feeling inspired as it is my Easter holiday. So as i sit at my desk, i am browsing for design competitions, and looking into the idea of having some T-shirts printed with some of my designs.......keeping busy and in the know, so watch this space! (and buy a t-shirt when i get them printed!)

Finally it snowed!

We woke up this morning to find some snow!

Hand made birthday presents......

It's my friend Stephs birthday, so i decided to make a hommage to all that is british for her, and re-create this union jack witha vintage theme......



It's quilted and appliqued on, i really like it! so much, i don't now want to give it away........never mind!

New Ventures

I recently acquired some beautiful, expensive fabrics, but not enough to do anything 'BIG' with....until this idea came along, patchwork cushions. Each cushion comes out at 40 cm x 40 cm

So this is the blue version (yet to be quilted)



And this is the red version (also, yet to be quilted!)



Obviously, they'll only be one off's due to fabric, but i'm going to play!! and then sell them eventually!
